SYPNOPSIS
The Greenland Ice Sheet is a massive glacier two miles thick. Sea level would rise dramatically worldwide if it melted, making its future of great concern. In 2006 I spent a week at Swiss Camp, a base on the Ice Sheet, and at Ilulissat, the nearest Inuit village.
